FERMACELL gypsum fibre board
FERMACELL gypsum fibre board is simultaneously a building board, fire protection board and wet-room board. It is made from gypsum and recycled paper fibres. FERMACELL gypsum fibre board comes in a whole variety of sizes and formats. It is used for non-load-bearing partition walls with a substructure of steel or wood; in load-bearing walls, it is used with a substructure of wood. Both load-bearing and non-load-bearing indoor partition walls and fire walls can be produced with FERMACELL. The variety of possible uses for FERMACELL gypsum fibre board is also highlighted by its use for load-bearing terminal walls on buildings, as well as for external walls with wooden substructure. In addition, FERMACELL gypsum fibre board is also ideal for lining walls and ceilings, for converting attic spaces, for counter-ceilings and for dry lining.
FERMACELL TB-Kante
FERMACELL gypsum fibre board is also available with flattened edge for dry lining (TB-Kante). The edge profile comprises a gently angled flat area and a bevel on the edge of the board. FERMACELL gypsum fibre board with TB-Kante is used for internal walls and ceilings as well as for lining roof panes. The established joining techniques with stopper and adhesive joins for FERMACELL gypsum fibre board without edge profile are consequently supplemented by a new cost-efficient and robust joining system from FERMACELL. The advantages of FERMACELL fibre board with dry lining edge include rapid seamless installation of the FERMACELL gypsum fibre boards, easy production of level surfaces and waste-free processing due to the all-round TB-Kante. Two-thirds of the connections are sealed in a single operation when filling the join.
FERMACELL composite board
FERMACELL composite boards comprise a FERMACELL gypsum fibre board coated with expanded polystyrene to DIN 18164 on one side. The boards are available in five different thicknesses. FERMACELL composite boards are used for lining indoor walls and ceilings.
FERMACELL building board HD (Powerpanel HD)
FERMACELL Powerbpanel HD is a cement-bonded, glass-fibre-reinforced sandwich board with light aggregates. HD building board is approved by construction supervisory authorities and used as static bracing to bear part of the load in exterior wall structures with wood panelling. In combination with a directly applied rendering system, the board permits durable protection against the weather. The use of expanded clay and recycled foam glass granulate as aggregate ensures a low weight for easy processing. At the same time, however, FERMACELL building board HD also displays high compression strength and high bending tensile strength, due to the reinforcement with alkali-resistant glass fibre. The boards are cement-grey in colour. One side is smooth for formwork, the other gently corrugated.
FERMACELL flooring element
FERMACELL flooring elements come in different versions, with or without lining. This makes them ideal for many purposes, such as fire protection, soundproofing or thermal insulation; they can also be used with underfloor heating systems and floor coverings to reduce footfall noise. Depending on requirements, numerous different systems can also be constructed with FERMACELL flooring elements. The boards measure 1500 mm in length and 500 mm in width. They are available in different thicknesses from 20 mm upwards.
FERMACELL cavity flooring of type MAXifloor
FERMACELL cavity flooring elements of type MAXifloor are made from non-flammable FERMACELL gypsum fibre board mounted on MAXifloor supports of variable height which are bonded to the raw floor at intervals of 500 x 500 mm. The flooring element has a special moisture-repellent coating underneath. Laid in a pattern, the elements are bonded together with FERMACELL flooring adhesive in the profiled cross joint. The dry cavity floor can be equipped with numerous accessory components for building services and communication systems (such as inspection ports, underfloor trunking, electrical outlets, etc.), thus making it ideal for rehabilitation, as well as conversion and modernisation of office and administrative buildings, banks and insurance companies, old buildings and when adding floors to existing buildings. FERMACELL cavity flooring of type MAXifloor is also ideal for future-oriented homebuilding.
